TCU Ranked No. 5 in Preseason CRCA Poll

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Rifle team will begin its 2014-15 season ranked No. 5 in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA)'s preseason poll.
TCU, the 2010 and 2012 national champions as well as the 2013 smallbore victors, begins its season on Oct. 4 when it welcomes No. 9 Army to the TCU Rifle Ran.
Entering their second season in the Patriot Rifle Conference, the Frogs boast eight returners from last year's squad that finished third in air rifle and aggregate and second in smallbore at the 2014 NCAA Championships.
TCU's top performer a year ago, Sally Li, leads the returning group. Li led all shooters in air rifle (588.6), smallbore (578.3) and aggregate (1166.9). Junior Hannah Black was second in each of the three disciplines. In addition to the returners, the Frogs also welcomed five new faces to the team this fall.
The 2014-15 schedule features nine matches against squads ranked in the preseason Top 20.
