• TCU secured its first-ever Big 12 series sweep.
• TCU last swept a doubleheader in the a weekend series on May 16, 2008 at New Mexico.
• The last time the Frogs won two games in one day was at the NCAA College Station Regional on June 3 when they topped No. 8 Texas A&M 10-2 and Ole Miss 5-2.
• TCU posted double-digit hits for the fifth straight game and the 15th time this year.
• Alex Young made his first start of the season. It was just his third career start.
• Dylan Fitzgerald saw his streak of reaching base safely come to an end at 26.
• Cody Jones stretched his streak of reaching base safely to 10 games.
• Jones tallied his ninth multi-hit game of the year.
• Derek Odell extended his hitting streak to six games.
• Odell collected his 10th multi-hit game of the season. It was his fourth straight multi-hit game.
• Boomer White has hit safely in five straight.
