• TCU improved to 14-1 in the month of April.
• TCU's last 1-0 victory came on May 15, 2012 at No. 24 Oklahoma.
• The 11 shutouts ties the school record for most in a season. The 1972 squad posted 11 shutouts.
• Preston Morrison tossed his third complete game of the season.
• Morrison has not allowed a run in his last 17 2/3 innings pitched dating back to the game at Kansas.
• The TCU pitching staff has surrendered just three runs (two earned) in their last seven games spanning 63 1/3 innings pitched.
• TCU held an opponent to one run or less for the 22nd time this season.
• TCU played errorless baseball for the 17th time this season.
• Derek Odell collected his 13th multi-hit game of the season.
• Garrett Crain stretch his hitting streak to seven games.
• Jerrick Suiter has a season-long six game on-base streak.
