Game Notes:
• TCU's last series win over a top-10 opponent came in 2010 when the Frogs took two-of-three from No. 2 Texas in Austin at the NCAA Super Regional.
• For the first time since 1972, the Horned Frogs tallied three consecutive shutouts. The Frogs posted four consecutive shutouts from March 28-April 1.
• TCU notched its ninth shutout of the year. Is the first time since the 1975 season the Frogs have posted that many shutouts.
• The TCU pitching staff has not allowed a run in their last 27 1/3 innings pitched.
• The TCU pitching staff struck out 10 or more for the 18th time this season.
• Preston Morrison has allowed just one run in his last 27 1/3 innings pitched dating back to March 29.
• Boomer White has reached base safely in 12 straight games.
• Kevin Cron collected his 10th multi-hit game of the season.
• Cron recorded his second three-hit game of the season. His first one was March 22 against Texas Tech.
• Derek Odell streak of reaching base safely in 14 straight games came to an end.
