Game Notes:
The TCU pitching staff has not allowed a run in their last 18 1/3 innings pitched.
TCU tallied back-to-back shutouts for the first time since March 2-3, 2013 against Jacksonville.
The TCU pitching staff struck out 10 or more for the 17th time this season.
TCU notched its eighth shutout of the year. It's the most shutouts since the 2005 season when the Frogs posted eight in 2005.
TCU's last win against a top-10 opponent came on June 3, 2012 against No. 8 Texas A&M in College Station.
Derek Odell has reached base safely in 14 straight games.
Boomer White has reached base safely in 11 straight games.
Cody Jones collected his 12th multi-hit game of the season.
Brandon Finnegan reached double-digit strikeouts for the sixth time this season. It was his first 10+ strikeout game since March 21 against Texas Tech.
Finnegan established a new career-high in strikeouts. His previous season high was 84. He has 95 after tonight's game.
The last Horned Frog to have 90+ strikeouts in a season was Andrew Mitchell in 2012. He finished the campaign with 101 Ks.
