Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll Named

FORT WORTH, Texas - 241 TCU student-athletes have been named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2013 semester.
Acknowledging all student-athletes, the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll is an inclusive honor for varsity sports sponsored by the membership of the league. The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is recorded and released each semester and recognizes those student-athletes who recorded a 3.00 or better GPA the previous semester.
The TCU women’s swimming and diving team led all Horned Frog teams with 39 honorees on the honor roll. Other total student-athletes on the honor roll include football (30), baseball (22), equestrian (22), women’s soccer (19), men’s track and field (13), men’s swimming and diving (11), women’s tennis (11), women’s track and field (10), rifle (10), men’s golf (9), volleyball (9), men’s tennis (8), women’s golf (8), women’s basketball (7), women’s cross country (5), men’s cross country (4) and men’s basketball (4).
More than 2,500 student-athletes each semester have been named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in the Conference’s 17-year tenure.
