
Patterson Tabbed Semifinalist for National Honor

PHILADELPHIA -- The Maxwell Football Club has announced TCU head coach Gary Patterson as a semifinalist for its 2014 Collegiate Coach of the Year Award.
The Horned Frogs, picked to finish seventh in the Big 12, are 9-1 overall and sit atop the conference standings with a 6-1 league record. TCU is fifth in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Patterson has received 10 National Coach of the Year honors, including the Maxwell Football Club's 2009 George Munger Award, during his 14 seasons as the Horned Frogs' head coach.
