Robinson Earns Big 12 Weekly Honor

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU's Cooper Robinson has been named the Big 12 Men's Swimmer of the Week for his performance last week against cross-town rival SMU.
A senior from Katy, Texas, Robinson posted three first-place finishes, as well as second-place time in the 173.5-126.5 victory over the Mustangs on Nov. 12. It was the second-time in the program's history that TCU had defeated SMU.
In the 200 back, he recorded a mark of 1:47.18, the fastest time by a Horned Frog this season. He also notched a win in the 200 IM, clocking in at 1:52.58. He also helped TCU claim first-place in the 200 medley relay against the Mustangs.
Robinson and the TCU swimming and diving teams will compete at the Art Adamson Invitational in College Station and the UT Diving Invite in Austin beginning Thursday.
