The Opponent
New Orleans comes into Thursday's contest following an 88-61 victory over Pensacola Christian College Tuesday. Against the Eagles, the Privateers were led by Kevin Brown's 18-point outing. Colton Weisbrod followed, scoring 12 points, while grabbing six boards.
In all, UNO had five players score in double-figures and shot over 50 percent from the floor. The Privateers are coming off a debut season in the Southland Conference that saw fourth-year head coach Mark Slessinger's squad go 8-10 in league play.
The Series
The Horned Frogs and Privateers will battle for only the second time in program history Thursday. TCU leads the all-time series 1-0 after dropping UNO in its previous meeting, 74-61. In all, the two schools will face off for the first time since Nov. 18, 1998.
Firing Out Of The Gate
TCU has outscored its first two opponents by a combined score of 18-0 in the first 4 minutes of action. During that span, the two schools have gone a combined 0-for-10 from the field with four turnovers. Against Washington State, the Frogs opened the contest on a 14-0 run. WSU didn't even score from the field until 15:52 showed on the clock.
All Hands On Deck
During the first two non-conference games, all 14 players suited up have seen action. Only senior Amric Fields and sophomore Josh Brown have yet to play in a non-conference game.

The six transfers include: Devonta Abron (Arkansas), Josh Brown (Texas A&M-Commerce), Christian Gore (Brown), Chris Washburn (UTEP), Kenrich Williams (New Mexico JC) and Trey Zeigler (Central Michigan/Pitt).
In all, five out of the six combined to score 37 of the Frogs' 81 points against Washington State, while also combining to grab 20 of TCU's 45 rebounds.
Rebounding Success
TCU grabbed 50 rebounds against Prairie View A&M in its season opener. The last time the Frogs, who recorded 45 versus the Cougars Monday, had grabbed 50 plus rebounds in a game came during its 2007 contest versus Rice when the Purple and White corralled 59 boards.
Offensive Glass Explosion
The Frogs followed up a 17 offensive rebound performance in its season-opener with an 18-board outing versus WSU. To put it into perspective, TCU only had one game a year ago when the Purple and White grabbed 13 or more offensive boards in a single-game, which came against Texas Tech (13 offensive rebounds).
Magic Numbers
By scoring over 70 points in its first two games, TCU is now 12-1 all-time under head coach Trent Johnson when scoring 70 or more points in a single-game. On the flip side, the Purple and White held both Prairie View and Washington State to 54 points, which now marks the 16th time under Johnson TCU has held an opponent to less than 60 points in a game.
Home Away From Home
TCU moved to 715-443 all-time in home games this past Monday night. The Horned Frogs, who are playing this season at Wilkerson-Greines due to their basketball facility receiving a $59 million dollar renovation, are now 104-65 in home games played away from TCU's campus.
