TCU Announces Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas - Men's basketball's Kenrich Williams and equestrian's Nicole Diamantis have been named TCU's Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week for their recent performances.
Williams, a sophomore forward from Waco, recorded 11 points on 3-for-4 from the field, as well as eight rebounds, three assists and three blocks in the 71-54 win over Prairie View A&M on Friday. On Monday night, he had nine points and a team-high 10 boards in the victory over Washington State, 81-54.
Williams and the men's basketball team continue their five-game homestand against New Orleans on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m., at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center.
Diamantis garnered two Most Outstanding Performer awards in the Horned Frogs 13-5 victory over No. 2 Kansas State on Friday. The junior from Tallahassee, Fla., posted scores of 85 in the equitation over fences event and 93 in the equitation on the flat discipline in the win. Diamantis is 5-0 this season in the over fences portion.
With the win, the Horned Frogs wrapped up the fall portion of the schedule and moved to No. 2 in the National College Equestrian Association rankings. The next meet will be against cross-town rival SMU on Friday, Feb. 6, at the Fort Worth Stock Show.
