TCU Trio Ready for South Central Regional

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's cross country team will have three representatives at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships on Friday, Nov. 14, in Fayetteville, Ark., at Agri Park.
It will be the first time since 2012 that TCU will compete at the event, when the Horned Frogs women's team placed sixth overall.
This year, freshmen Anna Cozart, Arin Rice and Bailey Sullivan will be running for TCU. The 6K race begins at noon.
At the Big 12 Championships, the trio finished with the top three times for the Horned Frogs. Rice and Sullivan finished back-to-back with times of 22:24.7 and 22:25.2, respectively, and Cozart clocked in with a time of 23:03.0.
Sullivan led the team in three-straight meets during the middle of the season, all in 5K races. She also improved her season-best marks with each event, recordings times of 18:48.8 (Ken Garland Invitational), 18:18.4 (UTA Season Opener) and 17:34.2 (Chile Pepper Festival).
It will be the second time this season the Horned Frogs have competed at Agri Park, as they ran in the Chile Pepper Festival on Oct. 4 with 42 other schools. Sullivan's time of 17:34.2 led the team, while Rice and Cozart finished with times of 18:05.2 and 18:16.4, respectively. All three times were personal-bests this season in the 5K.
Off the field, Rice was one of six from TCU who received First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.
