"We are excited to have Kristen joining us at TCU," said Hunt Seat Head Coach Logan Fiorentino. "She has a lot of success competing at the highest level and we believe that she will be an asset to the team. Kristen has worked with some of the top trainers in the country and brings a wealth of experience with her. We look forward to having her on campus and as a part of our program as we look ahead to the spring season with Big 12 Championships and NCEA Championships."
Mohr comes to TCU after transferring from Texas A&M. Prior to her time as an Aggie, the Long Valley, New Jersey native claimed championship honors at both the Taylor Harris Medal Finals and 2013 Mid Atlantic Equitation Finals, respectively. She also recently earned eighth-place accolades at the 2014 Hunterdon Cup and sixth-place honors at the prestigious USEF Medal Finals.
Mohr, who earned top-10 finishes at the Region 2 ASPCA Maclay Regionals, has qualified and competed at both the USEF Medal and ASPCA Maclay finals the past five years. She brings a strong championship pedigree with her to Fort Worth as she has earned first-place accolades in several Junior Hunter and Equitation classes at Devon, Junior Hunter Finals, The Hampton Classic, Lake Placid, The Capital Challenge and The Washington International Horse Show.
The Ronnie Mutch Equitation Scholarship Winner is trained by Lindsey Mohr (WinMohr Show Stables), Stacia Madden (Beacon Hill Show Stables) and Emil Spadone (Redfield Farms).
