TCU Meet at Texas Canceled

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU's Friday swimming and diving meet at Texas was canceled due to inclement weather in the Austin area affecting travel conditions for the Horned Frogs.
The TCU women conclude the Big 12 schedule with a 3-0 record, having defeated Kansas, Iowa State and West Virginia. The Horned Frogs return to action Feb. 5 at North Texas.
The TCU men will be off until the Big 12 Championships which begin Feb. 26 in Austin.
"We're disappointed we couldn't compete against a quality program like Texas," TCU head coach Richard Sybesma said. "However, it just wasn't safe conditions to travel.
"Because we couldn't swim today, our men will continue to focus on practice while the women will train for the UNT meet."
