Stanford Has Strong Showing at LPGA Event

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU's Angela Stanford was the runner-up at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Stanford lost on the third hole of a sudden-death playoff to Hee Young Park.
A four-time All-American at TCU, Stanford is in her 13th year on the LPGA Tour. She is currently 12th in the Rolex Player of the Year rankings.
Stanford has won five LPGA events in her career with 72 top-10 finishes, including four this year. She tied for fourth at the 2013 U.S. Women's Open.
