Dachs, Green Scholar-Athletes of the Month

FORT WORTH- Arnau Dachs of men's tennis and Catherine Green of the rifle team were named TCU Scholar-Athletes of the Month for January.
Dachs, the No.100 ranked tennis player in the nation, went undefeated last month. The sophomore from Spain also beat the No. 48 ranked player in the nation against Michigan.
Green, a junior from Rhode Island, set a season high of 592 in air rifle this month in the teams second match against Alaska-Fairbanks. She was also in the top 10 in smallbore in their first meet against Alaska-Fairbanks.
Men's tennis will take the court again today at 1:30 p.m. at Stanford and the rifle team will compete in the NCAA Qualifier on Feb. 16.
