• Boomer White made his first career start. He was the starting designated hitter in the contest.
• Paul Hendrix collected his first career hit as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning.
• Axel Johnson picked up his first hit and RBI of the season with a pinch-hit single in the eighth inning.
• The grand slam hit by the Titans was the second given up by the Horned Frogs this season.
• With two pinch-hit singles today, Frog pinch hitters are now 5-of-13 (.385) on the season.
• TCU is 0-5 to start a season for the first time since 1981.
