FORT WORTH, Texas - Two days after garnering Big 12 Rider of the Month accolades, junior Alexi Child added to her hardware collection Friday by being named NCEA Reining Rider of the Month.
Child, an Oregon native, currently leads the Horned Frogs with a 6-1 overall record, including a 3-0 mark against league foes. She went 4-1 during the month of November, which included capturing two MOP accolades.
No. 8 TCU closed out the fall season with a 4-3 overall record, including a 2-1 mark in Big 12 action. The Frogs will have two months off before battling Delaware State at the Fort Worth Stock Show on Friday, Feb. 7.
