Child Honored By Big 12 Conference Wednesday

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU junior Alexi Child was named Big 12 Reining Rider of the Month Wednesday.

Child, an Oregon native, currently leads the Horned Frogs with a 6-1 overall record, including a 3-0 mark against league foes. She went 4-1 during the month of November, which included capturing two MOP accolades.

No. 8 TCU closed out the fall season with a 4-3 overall record, including a 2-1 mark in Big 12 action. The Frogs will have two months off before battling Delaware State at the Fort Worth Stock Show on Friday, Feb. 7.
