Team Notes
*TCU head coach Gary Patterson is now 14-12 against ranked teams and 6-7 versus top-10 opponents.
*TCU scored in its 260th consecutive game, the third-longest current streak in the nation and eighth best in NCAA history.
*TCU's team captains were Sam Carter, James Dunbar, Jon Koontz and Jason Verrett.
*TCU wore its traditional all-white road uniform with its ice helmet. The HornedFrogs hadn't worn the ice helmet since the 2012 season opener versus Grambling State.
Individual Notes
*Defensive end Terrell Lathan and offensive guard Jamelle Naff made their first career starts.
*Lathan recorded his third sack of the season, tying him with Jon Lewis for the team lead.
*Defensive end Mike Tuaua recorded his first career sack.
*Linebacker Jonathan Anderson posted a season high with eight tackles, including one for a loss.
*Jason Verrett had six tackles, including one for a loss, and two pass breakups.
*Chris Hackett tied a career best, set in last year's Oklahoma game, with his team-best 11 tackles.
*True freshman wide receiver Ty Slanina had a career high in receiving for the second straight game with his team-best six receptions for 38 yards. He entered the game with five catches on the year.
*Slanina's six receptions were the most by a Horned Frog in a game this season.
*Cam White tied a career high with his four receptions for 38 yards.
*Trevone Boykin had his first two rushing touchdowns of the season with scoring runs of 2 and 8 yards. It was the first game in his career with multiple rushing touchdowns.
David Porter posted a career-best 45 yards receiving on his one catch.
*Ethan Perry had season-long 51- and 52-yard punts after entering the game without a 50-yard punt on the year.
*Jaden Oberkrom's 25-yard third-quarter field goal made him 7-of-9 on the season. He also made both his extra-point attempts and is now 59-of-59 in his career.
