FORT WORTH - Agnes Kemboi was named Big 12 Runner of the Week the conference announced Tuesday. This is Kemboi's first honor of the season, and the first award earned by the TCU cross country program from the Big 12.
Kemboi controlled the women's 5K at the Ken Garland Invitational in Denton Saturday. The senior crossed the line first in a time of 17:02.72 and helped the Horned Frogs reach second place in the team standings at the event.
