Game Notes:
TCU played in its fourth extra-inning game of the season and improved to 3-1 in those games.
The Frogs have played 32 extra-inning games under Jim Schlossnagle. The victory improves the Frogs to 22-10 all-time under Schlossnagle.
Kyle Von Tungeln extended his hitting streak to five games with a double in the eighth.
The Frogs played their second straight errorless game.
Jason Coats notched his 12th multi-hit game of the season and the 87th of his career.
TCU improve to 4-0 in games started by Preston Morrison.
All four of Morrison's starts have gone at least 6 1/3 innings. As a starter, he has allowed just five runs in 29 1/3 innings.
TCU and Manhattan are facing off in its second three-game series all-time. Similar to the 2005 series, the opening game took extra innings to decide a victor. TCU won 6-5 in 11 innings on March 4, 2005.
