Game Notes:
• Tyler Duffie made his season debut on Tuesday night, marking his first appearance since June 3, 2011 against Oral Roberts.
• The start was the first of Duffie's career.
• Axel Johnson made his first appearance as a pitcher in the eighth inning
• Josh Elander stretched his hitting streak to four games and he has now reached base safely in 11 straight contests.
• Elander tallied his ninth multi-hit game this season. It was his fourth career four-hit game.
• Kevin Cron tallied a career-high three hits and tied his career high with two RBIs.
• Keaton Jones posted his second career multi-hit game.
• Despite seeing his three-game hitting streak come to an end, Jerrick Suiter has still reached base safely in eight straight games.
• Jason Coats made his first appearance in a game since April 7. He had missed four games with an injury.
• Coats tallied his first career pinch-hit. He is now 1-for-3 in his career as a pinch hitter.
• Davy Wright caught for the first time in his career in the ninth and Derek Odell played third base for the first time this season.
• TCU tallied 10 hits for the seventh time this season. The 15 hits were the second-most for the Frogs this season.
• TCU pitchers struck out at least 10 batters in a game for the ninth time this season.
