ABOUT THE GAME
*TCU looks to become bowl eligible when it travels to Morgantown to face No. 21 West Virginia in a meeting of the Big 12's newest members.
*The Horned Frogs, 2-1 on the road in Big 12 play this season, are 20-3 in their last 23 overall road dates.
*As TCU's head coach, Gary Patterson is 12-8 against ranked teams.

*The Frogs and Mountaineers first met in the 1984 Bluebonnet Bowl in Houston with West Virginia taking a 31-14 decision on New Year's Eve in the Astrodome.
*TCU tight ends coach and special teams coordinator Dan Sharp had three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown for the Frogs against West Virginia in the bowl game.
