FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's soccer team began its preparations for the 2011 season Wednesday as the team opened two-a-days with an early morning practice. This fall marks the 25th anniversary season of TCU women's soccer.
The Horned Frogs return seven starters from last season and 21 total players from a year ago. TCU will be led by senior Jordan Calhoun, the program's all-time leader in goals scored. The Purple and White added eight new faces to the roster during the offseason.
TCU opens the regular season on Aug. 19 at Oklahoma State. The home opener is set for Aug. 21 with the Frogs playing host to Lamar at 1 p.m.
