
TCU Women's Golf Releases 2011-12 Schedule

FORT WORTH - TCU's women's golf team released its 2011-12 schedule Monday with the Horned Frogs kicking off the 2011 fall slate Sept.19, coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin announced.
The Frogs travel to Wolcott, Colo., for the Golfweek Challenge on Sept. 19-21, before ending the month of September at the UNM-Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque on Sept. 25 and 26.
TCU competes at the Windy City Classic in Chicago on Oct. 3 and 4. Its final fall event on the schedule is the UTSA Invitational on Oct. 30-Nov. 1.
The spring schedule opens Feb. 12-14 as TCU heads to Puerto Rico for the Purdue Invitational. The Frogs remain in a warm climate Feb. 20 and 21 for the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla.
TCU's March schedule kicks off March 2-4 at the Darius Rucker Invitational in Columbia, S.C. The Frogs get closer to home March 9-11 at the LSU/Cleveland Classic in Baton Rouge, La., before closing the regular season at the ASU PING Invitational in Phoenix on March 30-April 1.
The Frogs begin postseason play April 20-22 at the Mountain West Conference Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz. TCU is the defending MWC champion in its final year of competition in the league.
NCAA Regional Championships are May 10-12 at a host site to be determined at a later date. The Vanderbilt Golf Course Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn., is the host of the 2012 NCAA Women's Golf Championship on May 22-25.
TCU returns four from last year's MWC championship squad, including all-conference performer Brooke Beeler and MWC Freshman of the Year Sanna Nuutinen.
