A Look At Some Of Her Big Games
SMU
On Nov. 17, Carter put together one of the most memorable games in program history at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. She scored a school record 43 points to lead nationally ranked TCU to an 87-73 victory over SMU. In all, Carter had a career night for the Horned Frogs, breaking two school records en route to one of the most impressive performances ever at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The 6-1 senior scored 43 points on 11-of-18 shooting that included a 16-of-16 showing from the charity stripe, which were the most made in a game without a miss in school history.
When it was all said and done, Carter's 43 points closed the year as the No. 1 scoring output by an individual player in the NCAA, while also ranking No. 2 all-time in the Mountain West Conference.
Oklahoma
In a game that saw nine lead changes and 10 ties, Carter made bucket-after-bucket down the stretch, including six-straight points in the closing minutes that helped seal the Horned Frog victory over then No. 14 Oklahoma in front of 4,003 spectators at the DMC. The senior finished the night with a game-high 26 points, while also grabbing eight boards.
With TCU up 63-61 with 3 minutes to go, Oklahoma tied the game, but Carter answered right back, nailing a triple the next trip down the court to give the Frogs' a 66-63 advantage. She then proceeded to connect on a tough three-point play to give TCU a four-point advantage with only 2 minutes remaining in the contest.
Oral Roberts
In her final collegiate outing, Carter carried the Frogs the entire night, scoring a game-high 30 points in the first round of the WNIT against Oral Roberts. The Louisiana native also tallied six assists and six rebounds. In all, Carter put up 16 three-point attempts against the Golden Eagles, which ranks No. 1 all-time in school history for three-point field goal attempts in a single-game.
