FORT WORTH, Texas - GoFrogs.com continues its look back at this past women's basketball season with the second installment of an in-depth look at the 2010-11 senior class.
During this week's look back, GoFrogs.com breaks down Helena Sverrisdottir's final season in what is the final look at the Iceland native's last go-round in a Horned Frog uniform.
During this past season, Sverrisdottir became the first player in TCU history to amass 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists for her career. She will leave TCU as the program's all-time leader in assists and games started, while also ranking in the top three in points, rebounds, blocked shots, field goals made and attempted, free throws made, free throws attempted, assist average and games played.
A Look At Some Of Her Big Games
Oklahoma
The Horned Frogs opened 2011 in a big way, downing No. 14 Oklahoma, 76-69. Sverrisdottir was a big reason why, scorching the Sooners for 24 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 12-of-13 from the charity stripe. The senior's defense helped TCU hold OU to only two field goals down the stretch to preserve the victory.
UNLV
On Jan. 8, Sverrisdottir became TCU's all-time leader in assists as the Horned Frogs upended UNLV, 68-60, at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
The senior from Iceland was simply dominate during stretches of play, scoring 19 of her game-high 24 points in the second half, including a stretch in which she netted eight-straight points for the Horned Frogs. During the second half alone, Sverrisdottir, who also posted a career-high in steals with seven, went 7-of-7 from the floor. She finished the game with 24 points, seven boards, six assists and seven steals.

Sverrisdottir scored a career-high 30 points as TCU cruised to a dominating 81-39 victory over UT Arlington at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. Sverrisdottir, who posted a career-high in field goals made with 11, simply could not be stopped. The Iceland native torched the Mavericks in the first half, scoring 16 of her game-high 30 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including going 3-of-4 from deep. Overall, Sverrisdottir went 11-of-17 on the night, while also shooting 5-of-7 from behind the arc.
Sverrisdottir then went toe-to-toe against eventual National Champion Texas A&M and shined, scoring a team-high 23 points. She also set career-highs in both free throw (12) and attempts (14) to lead TCU's efforts.
For the week, Sverrisdottir averaged 26.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting .600 (15-25) from the field. She shot .667 (8-12) from three-point range and .882 (15-170 from the free throw line while averaging 31.5 minutes per game.
Mountain West Conference Tournament Game Against New Mexico
Sverrisdottir scored a game-high 25 points as No. 2 TCU advanced to the finals of the Mountain West Conference Tournament for the first time in program history with a 61-40 decision over No. 7 New Mexico at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Sverrisdottir simply was unstoppable against the Lobos, scoring 13 of her 25 points in the second half. The senior, who moved into No. 2 all-time in TCU history in points scored, went 8-of-13 from the field. She also grabbed seven rebounds and chipped in with five assists.
