The Horned Frogs have enjoyed playing away from home to the tune of a 9-3 road record this season.
Offensively, the team is hitting .326 in the 12 road games, led by Jason Coats' .400 batting average. Jantzen Witte is close behind with a .396 average.
TCU is averaging 6.9 runs away from this season.

FRESHMEN SENSATIONS
The Frogs have rolled out four impressive freshmen right arms this season. The duo of Andrew Mitchell and Stefan Crichton are 5-2 on the season.
Additionally Tony Rizzotti and Nick Frey have shown flashes of solid stuff.
Mitchell leads the league with his 1.24 ERA in 15 appearances. He is 2-0 with two saves in 36.1 innings pitched.
The quartet is limiting opponents to a .218 batting average against and has posted an ERA of 2.18 in 78 1/3 innings pitched. They have collected 72 strikeouts, while issuing just 24 walks.
ON THE RISE
Jason Coats has found his swing, putting together a season-long 16 game hitting streak. The streak has seen him raise his average to a season-high .310.
Additionally, he has produced an RBI in six straight contests.
Over the course of the 16 games, Coats is hitting .397 (25-for-63) with 17 runs scored and 18 runs driven in. He has eight doubles and two home runs.
During the steak, he has tallied eight multi-hit games and four multiple RBI contests. He has driven in a run in 11 of those contests.
