FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs will open a four-game homestand Tuesday night when they play host to cross town rival, UT Arlington. First pitch at Lupton Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m.GAME INFORMATION

TCU NOTABLES
TCU tallied its first sweep of the season and moved to 4-0 on the road.
The TCU pitching staff limited Texas Tech to 12 hits in 27 innings pitched and allowed it to score in just two innings (the fifth on Saturday and the ninth on Sunday).
Through the first eight games TCU had just 70 hits. The Horned Frogs tallied 45 hits in the three games against Texas Tech.
Kyle Winkler dominated for the second week, moving to 3-0 with a solid performance on Friday. He has yet to allow an unearned run in 22 1/3 innings pitched.
Jason Coats broke out of a slump with seven hits, including two home runs and six RBIs, against the Red Raiders.

TCU has played seven of 33 home games already this season.
The Frogs average 4,798 fans per game, which ranks ninth nationally.
TCU established a school-record with 6,099 fans at the season-opener against Kansas.

The Mavericks are on a roll, winning their last four games, including two victories over nationally-ranked Wichita State.
UTA boasts a solid offensive lineup that doesn't rely heavily on power. It is hitting .325 as a team with just one home run.
Ryan Walker is the offensive catalyst with a .444 batting average.
On the mound, the staff has posted a 4.69 ERA with 78 strikeouts. Opponents are hitting .283 against the group.
Defensively, the Mavericks have committed just 10 errors and have surrendered just four unearned runs.
SERIES NOTABLES
The Horned Frogs and the Mavericks will be meeting for the 139th time on Tuesday night.
TCU holds an 85-53 edge in the all-time series.
The Frogs have won 14 straight meetings against the Mavericks dating back to the 2004 season.
The Mavericks last win against TCU was on March 7, 2004 at Clay Gould Ballpark (8-7).

OH, WHAT A SWEEP
The Horned Frogs put together a solid weekend in all three facets of the game against Texas Tech. They notched their first series sweep of 2011, doing so in dominating fashion. Offensively, the Frogs hit a blistering .395 with a .605 slugging percentage. The Frogs pounded out six doubles, three triples and four home runs and were a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen bases. On the mound, the pitching staff held a talented Tech offense to a .135 average, allowing just 12 hits and just one extra base hit. The only hick-up were the 14 walks issued in 27 innings pitched. Additionally, the defense had a spectacular weekend, committing just one error.
START ME UP
Brance Rivera has opened the season at a torrid pace. He has hit safely in all 11 games and leads the team with a .444 batting average. Rivera has wasted no time extending his hitting streak, collecting a base hit in his first at-bat of a game eight times this season. He has opened the first inning with a triple and scored twice this season. He collected his first home run of the season on Sunday, battling through a nine-pitch at-bat to come through with a 3-run home run in the eighth inning. Brance leads the team with six multi-hit contests and has posted one multiple RBI game.
BACK ON TRACK
A minor adjustment made a world of difference to junior Jason Coats and it paid dividends this weekend as the outfielder exploded offensively. In three games, Coats raised his average from .125 to .250 after going 7-for-12 in the three game series at Texas Tech. He was held without an RBI in the first seven games of the season, but he drove in six. Additionally, the power stroke came back as he blasted two home runs and collected a double and a triple over the weekend.
UTTER DOMINATION
Kyle Winkler is off to a tremendous start in 2011. The junior has been dominate in his first three starts of the campaign, surrendering just two unearned runs in 22 1/3 innings pitched. In the three starts, Winkler has given up just 11 hits, all singles, and one walk. He has fanned 19. Opponents are only hitting .149 against the right-hander.
