
Frog Golf Continues Play in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS—The TCU men's golf team competed in the second of three 18-hole rounds Saturday at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters at Southern Highlands Golf Course. The three-day tournament concludes Sunday.
The Horned Frogs finished the day in ninth place in the team standings at +24 for the weekend after combining for an 11-over par 299 Saturday. Cal (-6) shot six strokes lower than any other team in the field and leads second-place Texas A&M (E) entering the final day of competition.
Daniel Jennevret, who finished the day in a tie for 17th place in the individual standings, continues to lead TCU at +4 following a 5-over par 77. Johan de Beer picked up eight spots on the leaderboard with a 2-over 74 while finishing in a tie for 34th place overall at +7 for the tournament. Pontus Gad, who shared the team lead with Jennevret following Round 1, dropped back in the back with a 9-over 81 and currently sits in a tie for 41st at +8 for the weekend.
Scott Roudebush, who shot the Frogs' highest score on Friday of 83, regrouped Saturday with the squad's low Round 2 total of 72. He is tied for 57th place at +11. Tom Hoge rounded out TCU's spots on the scoreboard in a tie for 69th at +14 following a Saturday 4-over par 76.
Competition wraps up Saturday with holes No. 37 through 54. TCU is scheduled to start play on the course's front nine at 8 a.m. PT.
