Frogs Prominent On Postseason Honor Rolls

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU had eight players receive All-America honors in the 2010 football season, including five first-team selections (Tank Carder, Wayne Daniels, Tejay Johnson, Jeremy Kerley and Jake Kirkpatrick).
Johnson was a consensus first-team All-American, the third straight year a Horned Frog has received that distinction. He was also one of three finalists for the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the nation's best defensive back.
Kirkpatrick was the recipient of the Rimington Trophy, presented to the nation's top center. He was also the lone offensive player among the four finalists for the Rotary Lombardi Award.
The Horned Frogs had a league-best 17 All-Mountain West Conference selections.
