
Former TCU Standout Grabs Two Tourney Wins

FORT WORTH - Former TCU All-American Nina Munch-Soegaard recently won two professional events on the International Tennis Federation Women's Circuit.
Munch-Soegaard teamed with former UCLA standout Elizabeth Lumpkin from Jan. 3 through Jan. 9 to win the doubles main draw of a $10,000 event in the Caribbean island nation of Saint Martin.
The following week, Munch-Soegaard joined 2008 NCAA Singles Champion Amanda McDowell to win another $10,000 event in Gosier, Guadeloupe. McDowell attended Georgia Tech.
In both events, Munch-Soegaard and her partners won four matches en route to tournament titles.
Munch-Soegaard was an All-American for the Horned Frogs in her junior year of 2009. She earned another invite to the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships during her senior year. The now married Nina Lemarr, she still competes on the ITF Circuit with the name Nina Munch-Soegaard.
