FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU cross country program will continue its 2010 season this Saturday morning at the UT Arlington Season Opener.
Start time for the women's two-mile race is set for 8:00 a.m., while the men's four-mile race will follow directly after at Vandergriff Park. The meet, which will take place at the Gerald Richey Course, also features a high school division. Collegiate teams competing this weekend include regionally ranked North Texas, host school UTA and several others.
"We want to leave better than when we got there," said distance coach Shawn Winget. "I want to see them continue to improve and compete hard. This will be our last race before we go to Oklahoma State, so we want to use this as a stepping stone to prepare for the heart of our season."
