LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- For the second time in three games, TCU All-American Jeremy Kerley has been recognized by the Paul Hornung Award for one of the "Most Versatile Performances of the Week."
Kerley totaled 202 all-purpose yards in the fourth-ranked Horned Frogs' 45-10 win over Baylor.
Kerley tied a career-high with six receptions for 69 yards and two touchdowns, had four punt returns for 84 yards and four carries for 49 yards.
It was the third time in the last four contests, dating back to the 2010 Fiesta Bowl, that Kerley has equaled a career-high with six receptions. He was on the receiving end of 28- and 9-yard scoring tosses from Andy Dalton.
Kerley had punt returns of 45 and 34 yards. The senior from Hutto, Texas, is averaging a career-best 17.2 yards per return this season.
Kerley was TCU's second-leading rusher with his four carries for 49 yards, including a 16-yard run on a fourth-and-1 to keep a TCU touchdown drive alive.
Created by the Louisville Sports Commission, the Paul Hornung Award recognizes versatile and high-level performers in major college football and helps preserve the legacy of one of Kentucky's best-known athletes. Hornung won the 1956 Heisman Trophy as a quarterback at Notre Dame and was the No. 1 pick in the 1957 NFL Draft. He is a member of the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame.
