TCU milked the three point lead until back-to-back hitting errors by the Roadrunners gave the Frogs a 14-10 advantage. Horio extended the lead with an ace to put the Frogs up 15-10. The Frogs kept the pressure on and pushed the lead to eight, 21-13, on kills from Hudson and Raines. A blast from Fort gave the Frogs set point and the eighth hitting error in the set by UTSA locked up the first set victory.

The Roadrunners weathered the storm and opened up a 23-20 lead on the Frogs, but a blast from Hudson turned the set around. A kill from Raines tied the set a 24. After wasting two set points, Irene Hester finished the set with a blast to the middle of the court for the 28-26 set two victory.
It was all Horned Frogs in the third set as they took the 25-19 victory to complete the sweep. Holding on to a one point lead at 11-10, a block in the middle by Hannah Fort and Irene Hester got the Frogs going in the right direction. Back-to-back service aces from Fort and a block by Hudson and Kristen Hester gave the Frogs a 16-11 lead, forcing a Roadrunner timeout.
Raines, Kristen Hester and Fort kept the momentum firmly in the Frogs' court as the lead grew to seven, 22-15. A kill from Raines gave the Frogs match point and a blast from Kristen Hester locked up the win.
