
RTP: Destination Omaha Series Finale Airs Thursday

FORT WORTH, Texas - MountainWest Sports Network airs the final installment of its original series, Reaching the Peak, when Reaching the Peak: Destination Omaha concludes on Thursday, July 1 at 8 p.m. (CST).
Reaching the Peak: Destination Omaha features the TCU baseball team, led by head coach Jim Schlossnagle, who was named the 2010 National Coach of the Year by the National College Baseball Writers Association. The Mtn. has followed TCU baseball throughout the 2010 season, broadcasting 16 games and the entire Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship plus the Regional and Super Regional competition as part of the Reaching the Peak: Destination Omaha series.
Thursday's Episode 7 follows the Horned Frogs to Omaha for their first ever appearance in the College World Series and final year of play at historic Rosenblatt Stadium. The team carries a FLIP cam to document their individual experiences while in Omaha, where they were embraced by the city and baseball fans from across the country.
Unique show elements contained within each episode of the series include:
* Three Up, Three Down: get to know the players with these 60-second question/answer sessions.
* Coach `Em Up: learn the fundamentals of the game with TCU's assistant coaches.
* Player Profiles: how the student-athletes came to TCU and what the game of baseball means to them.

Reaching the Peak provides viewers an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look into athletic programs across the Mountain West Conference as the show delves deep into the lives of the student-athletes. The last season of Reaching the Peak followed the Colorado State men's basketball team from the beginning of camp to beyond the 2010 Conoco Mountain West Conference Basketball Championships.
