Rifle Inks Green To NLI

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU head rifle coach Karen Monez has announced the signing of Catherine Green to a National Letter of Intent. Green will be a freshman on the squad this fall.
Green hails from Coventry, Rhode Island where she is a member of the Newport Rifle Club's Junior Rifle Team. She is the reigning Rhode Island Junior Olympic Champion in both Air Rifle & Smallbore.
In January of this year, Green participated in the 2009-10 US Army Junior Open Air rifle Postal where she placed seventh out of 265 participants. She also competed in and won the 3-Position 3x20 Precision Air Rifle match at the 2010 Camp Perry open. In February, Green earned a sixth place overall finish at the 2010 Canadian Grand Prix International Air Rifle match in Toronto.
Catherine has a passion for art and will be an art education major at TCU.
