
Wilbur To Participate In Career In Sports Forum

FORT WORTH, Texas - Junior soccer player Nikki Wilbur was recently selected to participate in the NCAA Career in Sport Forum.
"The TCU Athletics Department is extremely proud of Nikki for being chosen for such a prestigious NCAA sponsored program," said Chris Uchacz, director of athletic academic services. "She has worked hard this past year with our athletics marketing department gaining valuable experience that she will be able to build on at this conference."
The NCAA Forum will take place on May 11-14 at the Downtown Marriott in Indianapolis, Ind.
The NCAA Career in Sports Forum is a four-day event through which selected student-athletes explore and be educated on careers in sports, with a primary focus on collegiate athletics.
While at the forum, Wilbur will examine the key functions of a coach or administrator within sports. Foundational skills such as communication, networking, recruiting, managing culture, transitioning and budgeting will also be covered in Indianapolis.
