
Richmond To Start In Texas vs. The Nation Challenge

EL PASO, Texas -- TCU offensive lineman Nic Richmond will start at right tackle for Texas in Saturday's Texas vs. the Nation Challenge at the Sun Bowl in El Paso.
The game will be televised live on CBS College Sports at 1 p.m. Central.
Also representing Texas is TCU deep snapper Clint Gresham, the only snapper in the country invited to this year's NFL Combine.
Richmond played as a graduate student for TCU in the 2009 campaign. The Garland, Texas, native was a four-year letterman who made 16 career starts.
Past Horned Frogs to play in the Texas vs. the Nation Challenge include Eric Buchanan (2007), Brian Bonner (2008), Stephen Hodge (2009) and Blake Schlueter (2009).
Richmond and Greshman give TCU six players invited to All-Star Games this season. Offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse and linebacker Daryl Washington played in the East-West Shrine Game and Senior Bowl, respectively. Tailback Joseph Turner (East-West Shrine Game) and defensive end Jerry Hughes (Senior Bowl) were also invited to games but did not play due to injury.
