FORT WORTH, Texas - Junior Kaylie Garcia has represented the TCU women's soccer program this past week at the Mexican National Team Training Camp in Mexico City.
"We're excited for Kaylie," said head coach Dan Abdalla. "She's worked hard to earn this opportunity and be in consideration for a national team that will compete in a World Cup and beyond at the Olympics. It is a great honor."
Following the camp, the Oklahoma City native has the opportunity to be selected as a member of the Mexican National Team's World Cup traveling squad that will compete in various World Cup qualifying matches.
Garcia netted four goals, while dishing out three assists during the 2009 season.
