*TCU is 10-0 for the second straight year and third time in the last eight seasons.
*TCU extended its school-record regular-season winning streak to 23 games. The Horned Frogs have won 24 of their last 25 contests overall and are 36-3 in their last 39 games.
*In six Mountain West Conference games this season, TCU has outscored its opponents 236-23. The Horned Frogs have allowed just three touchdowns.
*TCU limited Utah to only 199 yards of total offense. Only one opponent in six MWC games has reached 200 yards in offense against TCU.
*The Horned Frogs held their opponent to single digits in scoring for the seventh time in 10 games this season.
*TCU allowed 148 yards passing and remains the only team in the nation to not allow an opponent to reach 200 yards in the air in a game this season.
*TCU snapped Utah's Mountain West Conference record home winning streak at 21 games. It was also the third-longest active streak in the nation. TCU's 19-game home winning streak is now the longest current MWC mark and third longest in the NCAA.
*The Horned Frogs posted their first win in four trips to Salt Lake City. TCU had been 0-3 at Utah's Rice-Eccles Stadium.
*TCU ran its MWC winning streak to 15 in a row. The Horned Frogs have won 23 of their last 24 games in conference play since dropping a 27-22 decision to BYU on Nov. 8, 2007. The only loss in that stretch was a 13-10 defeat at Utah on Nov. 6, 2008.
*TCU had 558 yards of offense to surpass the 500-yard mark for the third straight game and the fifth time this season.
*TCU improved to 70-2 under head coach Gary Patterson when allowing 17 points or less.
*The Horned Frogs held a 39:06 to 20:54 edge in time of possession and are now 50-2 in their last 52 games when leading in that category.
*TCU scored in all four quarters today and has now tallied points in all but one quarter this season.
*TCU improved to 18-0 in games when Jeremy Kerley scores a touchdown.
*With a 26-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to Josh Boyce, TCU scored on its opening possession of the game for the seventh time (six touchdowns, one field goal) in 10 games this season.
*TCU's 237 yards of offense in the first quarter marked a season-best in any quarter this season. The previous best was 211 yards in the first quarter of a 45-10 win over Baylor.
*TCU had three 1-play scoring drives.
*TCU was plus-3 in turnover margin and improved to 52-1 when ahead (37-1) or even (15-0) in that category over the last six seasons.
Individual Notes
*Andy Dalton completed 21-of-26 passes for a career-high 355 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Dalton's previous career-high was 344 yards as a freshman at Stanford in 2007.
*Dalton's 26-yard first-quarter scoring toss to Josh Boyce extended his Mountain West Conference record to 18 consecutive games with a touchdown pass.
*The 93-yard touchdown pass from Dalton to Boyce was the third-longest play in TCU history. The only longer plays were a 99-yard Scott Ankrom to James Maness completion against Rice in 1984 and a 98-yard connection from Brandon Hassell to Reggie Harrell versus Arizona in 2003.
*Already TCU's career leader in total offense, Dalton had 369 yards to climb into second place all-time in the Mountain West Conference with 11,320. He moved past BYU's John Beck (11,060, 2003-06). Max Hall of BYU is the MWC's all-time leader with 11,569 yards (2007-09).
*With 126 yards receiving and two touchdowns on three catches, Josh Boyce had his second 100-yard game of the season. He had eight catches for 127 yards and two scores in a 31-3 win over BYU.
*Jeremy Kerley's 26-yard touchdown pass to Bart Johnson made him 5-of-7 passing for 135 yards in his career. It was his first career scoring toss.
*A 9-yard reception on the first play of the game was the 100th career catch for Kerley.
*Kerley set a single-game career high with seven catches for 68 yards.
*On his 26-yard touchdown reception from Kerley, Johnson extended his team-best and career-high streak to 32 consecutive games with a reception. The catch also pushed Johnson over 1,000 career receiving yards. He's now at 1,017.
*Jimmy Young's 11-yard third-quarter touchdown catch was the 12th of his career, tying him with Phillip Epps (1978-81) for seventh all-time at TCU.
*Young's five receptions for 84 yards have moved him into fifth place all-time at TCU for both receptions (136) and yards (2,161).
*Ross Evans had field goals of 24 and 23 yards to make him 8-of-8 on the season.
*Tanner Brock's interception and 57-yard return in the third quarter marked his first career pick.
*Brock set a career high with 12 tackles, topping his previous high of 11 set earlier this season against BYU.
