
Johnson Receives Academic All-District Selection

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU wide receiver Bart Johnson is a first-team selection on ESPN's Academic All-District football team.
It's the third straight year Johnson has been named to the team. He is now eligible for Academic All-America consideration. A senior from Brownwood, Texas, Johnson is a marketing major.
Johnson is third on TCU with 23 receptions for 305 yards (13.3 average) and two touchdowns. He has at least one catch in a team-best and career-high 31 consecutive games, a streak that is tied for 13th nationally among active players.
Johnson has 77 career receptions and is 16 yards shy of reaching 1,000 career receiving yards.
Johnson tied for second on TCU last season with a career-high 33 receptions.
As a redshirt in 2006, he was named TCU's Most Valuable Player on the Offensive Scout Team.
