ABOUT THE GAME*No. 4 TCU, the highest-ranked team in Texas, will board a plane and leave the state of Texas for just the second time this season when it travels to UNLV.
*The Horned Frogs have outscored their four Mountain West Conference opponents 141-10, allowing just one touchdown in the process.
*TCU is one of seven remaining undefeated teams this season.
*TCU has surrendered one touchdown over a 251:24 span, covering five games, dating back to a Sept. 24 contest at SMU. Opponents have scored one touchdown on TCU in four October games.
*TCU leads the nation in scoring defense (9.0 points per game), pass defense (117.9 yards per game) and fewest first downs allowed (12.1 per game). The Frogs are second in total defense (219.9 yards per game) and 15th in run defense (102.0 yards per game).
*TCU is one of just two schools (Boise State) to rank in the top 11 in the nation in both total offense and total defense. The Frogs are 11th in offense at 480.1 yards per game.
*The Frogs have scored in all but one quarter this season.
*Over the last six seasons, TCU is 54-4 in Saturday games.
THE WIN COLUMN
*The Frogs have a 21-game regular-season winning streak.
*TCU has won 22 of its last 23 overall games and is 34-3 in its last 37 contests.
*TCU has won its last 13 Mountain West Conference games and 21 of its last 22.
*Since the start of the 2008 season, TCU's 31 wins trail only Alabama (33-3) and Boise State (32-1). The Frogs are 31-3 in that stretch.
*Thirteen of TCU's last 15 victories have been by at least 27 points. Fourteen of the 15 wins are by 17 points or more.
GOOD STARTS
*TCU is 8-0 for the second straight year and third time in the last eight seasons.
ROAD WARRIORS
*TCU has won its last eight road games and 10 of the last 11.
*With a 17-10 win in 2005, TCU gave Oklahoma its only home loss since 2001.

SERIES NOTES
*TCU holds a 7-1 lead over UNLV in a series that began in 1996 when both teams were members of the Western Athletic Conference.
*TCU is 3-1 versus the Rebels in Las Vegas and 4-0 in Fort Worth.
*Since beginning MWC play in 2005, the Frogs are 5-0 against UNLV. TCU took 25-10 (2006) and 44-14 (2008) decisions in its MWC visits to Las Vegas.
*The Frogs and Rebels met for three consecutive years (1996-98) in the WAC. TCU won the initial meeting, 42-34, in Fort Worth in 1996. The Frogs then made two straight trips to Las Vegas, falling 21-19 in 1997 before a 41-18 victory in 1998.
REMEMBER WHEN
*One of the more significant victories in TCU football history came against UNLV.
*After the Frogs posted a 1-10 record in 1997, current head coach and then-defensive coordinator Gary Patterson arrived at TCU as part of a new staff.
*The Frogs made an immediate improvement and were 5-5 heading into the 1998 regular-season finale at UNLV.
*A 41-18 victory over the Rebels gave TCU a 6-5 record and set the stage for an appearance in the Sun Bowl. The Frogs posted a 28-19 win against USC, beginning a stretch of 11 bowl games in 12 seasons.
