Frogs in the NFL: Week 5

Defense highlighted Week 5 action for TCU's group of former Frogs in the NFL. Jason Phillips made a big play on special teams during the Baltimore Ravens' 31-17 win over the Denver Broncos that resulted in his first career tackle and forced fumble. Phillips rocked Broncos receiver/kickoff returner Demaryius Thomas on a kickoff in the second quarter, causing a fumble that teammate Ken Hamlin recovered. The Raven offense later converted the play into a field goal and a 17-0 lead. Other Frog defensive standouts included Drew Coleman, who had a sack of quarterback Brett Favre during the New York Jets' Monday night win over the Minnesota Vikings, and Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washingotn, who had six tackles, including two for loss, during a 30-20 home victory over the reigning Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints. On the offensive side of the ball, LaDainian Tomlinson continued his career resurgence with 107 total yards for the Jets during their win over Minnesota.
