Below is what GoFrogs.com believes to be the No. 10 play during the most memorable season in TCU women's soccer history.
On Oct. 5, the Horned Frogs, who were coming off two-straight victories, opened the conference portion of their 2008 schedule with a dominating 3-1 victory over New Mexico.
The No. 10 Play Of 2008
With the game tied at 1-1 following halftime, freshman sensation Jordan Calhoun, who had already found the back of the net once in the match, gave the Purple and White the lead for good. On the play, Jackie Torda bent the ball around the Lobo defense to Calhoun who blasted a shot off the inside of her foot into the open goal past UNM goalkeeper Shannon Adragna.
The Significance
Calhoun's second goal marked her 11th goal on the year, which at that point was the most in a single-season since Sherry Dick netted 11 in 2000. UNM suffered its first opening-conference loss since 2003 as well.
