FORT WORTH, Texas - GoFrogs.com recently sat down with TCU equestrian junior Milana Trimino to reflect on the past season and share her expectations for the upcoming year in this week's edition of In The Know with the equestrian program.
What are your expectations for next season?
"I'm very excited for next season. I'm hoping that we will be able to build on our success from this year and hit the ground running right away."
What have you been doing this summer to prepare for next season?
"Unfortunately, I managed to break my collar bone in a riding accident the first day of summer, so I was out of riding for a little while. I am just now able to start back up again little by little."
What is the greatest memory you have had so far at TCU?
"For me personally, it would be the Fresno State Tournament this year. I went undefeated all weekend and earned an MVP. Also, my family got to come watch that weekend, since they are from California and don't normally get to come to very many games out here in Texas."
What do you like to do for fun in your spare time?
"I like to workout and hangout with my friends. This summer I have been involved in a lot of community service advocating the positive impact of equestrian facilities in Orange County, which has been fun as well."
If you could be on any TV show for one day, which would it be and why?
"Grey's Anatomy, but I could only handle one day. There is just so much drama!"
What do you like most about being a student at TCU?
"My team. It has been so great to be associated with such a great group of girls. But other than that, I love the community. I feel like anywhere I go at TCU there is someone I know as well as a new face."
If you could participate in any sport other than Equestrian, which would it be and why?
"Does polo count? I don't think I'm too talented at sports that do not involve horses."
