FORT WORTH--TCU begins the second rotation of its Mountain West Conference schedule Saturday when it plays host to Colorado State at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The Lady Frogs will aim to stay undefeated against the Rams as a member of the MWC. The game, scheduled to tip off at 5 p.m., will feature a live video stream on GoFrogs.com.
The Frogs return to Fort Worth 13-8 overall and 5-3 in conference play following Wednesday's 73-63 road loss to league-leading Utah. The second half of the league schedule sets up nicely for the squad with five of the final eight contests to be played at the DMC, where it has posted a 7-2 record so far in 2008-09.
TCU brings a 7-3 record against Colorado State into tonight's contest, with each of the seven wins coming during the Frogs' MWC era. In fact, CSU is one of two conference foes that TCU is undefeated against since joining the league, with the other being Air Force (8-0). The two teams have one common opponent this season--UT San Antonio. The Frogs defeated UTSA by 13 points, 73-60, on Nov. 16, while the Rams dropped a 67-58 decision to the Roadrunners on Dec. 29.
Wednesday's will be carried live on the radio throughout the Metroplex on 88.7 KTCU-FM with Jeff Williams providing the play-by-play. A link to a live stream of the same radio broadcast can be found on GoFrogs.com, while a live stats feed will also be offered on TCU's official web site.
