
Beeler Leads Frogs In Tennessee

FARRAGUT, Tennessee -- Brooke Beeler's 76 led TCU in opening-round action Friday at the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championships.
The No. 36 Horned Frogs are in 17th place after a 314. Host and 18th-ranked Tennessee leads with a 5-under-par 283, 13 strokes ahead of Kent State and Louisville.
Beeler, a sophomore from Butler, Ill., is tied for 31st individually. TCU sophomore Rachel Raastad and junior Melissa Loh both carded 79s.
Diana Cantu of the Lady Vols is atop the leader board with a 69, one shot ahead of teammate Ginny Brown.
