Christian and Edwards named Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH - Running back Ryan Christian and middle blocker Kourtney Edwards were honored as TCU's Athletes of the Week.
Against Stanford, Christian snuck in the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown midway in the third quarter to solidify the Frogs' 31-14 victory over the Cardinal. Christian rushed for a career-high 82 yards on 19 carries in the game. The junior from Aledo, Texas has now scored a touchdown in two straight contests, while amassing 189 rushing yards this season.
Edwards, a junior from Haltom City, Texas, led the Frogs in kills in three of four matches of the Red Raider Round-Up in Lubbock, Texas. She posted three kills in the decisive final set of a five set victory over Texas Tech, and topped her week off with a selection to the Red Raider Round Up All-Tournament Team.
