FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU Equestrian has had an action-filled summer as many of its current and incoming riders have been busy competing all over the country.
Senior Carrie von Uhlit stays busy by riding and practicing for horse shows. She recently showed her new horse at the Texas Classic and the Red Bud Spectacular, where she qualified for the 2008 AQHA World Championship Show in November. She also rode another horse at the Oregon Summer Classic where she qualified for the 2008 World Championships.

Along with Uhlit, sophomore Ashley Aikman also competed at the Texas Classic which was held May 28-June 2. Aikman competed in showmanship, horsemanship, western riding and trail where she won the American Quarter Horse Association All-Around Youth award. She was also the Reserve Circuit Champion in showmanship.
Incoming freshman Katie Crenshaw will be looking forward to showing at the Brownland Farms Summer Classic in Franklin, Tenn., and the Colorado Summer Circuit in Parker, Colo., later this summer.
Lyndsi Hardin, who will be a freshman this fall, competed last month where she won the PtHA World Championship in showmanship and the PtHA Reserve World Championship in equitation.
